Well friends, it looks like I will be able to make it to Pennsic, but barely. I have just enough money for gas to get there and back. There are some people who are going to pay me back some money, but for the moment it looks like once I get back I will have to start job hunting to keep myself out of the red. I am, naturally, going to continue to do artwork. I hope to get a part time job so that I have enough time to keep things rolling, and so that (hopefully) I will be able to help staff at WPAFW and go to the wedding in September. WEDNESDAY: Drive to Pittsburgh. The trip is... less than exciting. Took a different route, which might have saved about an hour. Got to Kyr's, meet coolguy Alex, who's from the UK. Go with Jino and Alex to friend's house. Drinking happens. Portal buddy happens. The most paranoia inducing game happens. Sleep happens. THURSDAY: Vague memories. I managed to pull it off, even though I didn't think I was going to. 3 badges made, ready for printing and then to be sold at Anthrocon. I haven't used digital art in years, and even though it crapped out on me (but with only the Earth badge for some reason), I was able to get it all done sooner than I expected. This means that I can get a head start on other stuff I am going to sell, as well as finishing badges some of you have already ordered! I'm going to be posting pictures of all three tomorrow!
